We’re reaching out to inform you of planned scheduled maintenance on the Whispir AP1 platform. This activity is essential to strengthening the long-term stability, reliability, and scalability of our back-end infrastructure — ensuring Whispir continues to deliver the trusted performance you depend on.


Maintenance window

Date: Tuesday 9th December 2025
Change Window: 07:00 AEDT (04:00 SGT) - 08:30 AEDT (05:30 SGT)
Impact Duration: Up to 30 seconds
Impact Time: Approx. 07:30 AEDT (04:30 SGT)


What to expect

During the maintenance window our in-memory cache systems are being upgraded and, for a brief period of a few seconds during the maintenance window, incoming SMS Delivery Receipts may not be matched to the corresponding outbound message, resulting in some messages remaining in the Sent status on the Whispir platform. Note however that message delivery is not impacted and outgoing messages will be forwarded to the telecommunications provider and delivered to the recipient as normal. The Web portal and API services are not impacted by this maintenance.

If you have critical workloads that depend on confirmation of message delivery during the maintenance window, we recommend arranging an alternative backup service or notifying your customers in advance of the scheduled maintenance.

Extensive precautions have been taken to minimise disruption and ensure a smooth transition. This upgrade represents a key step in our ongoing investment to future-proof the Whispir platform.
